Top Course - THURSDAYS Last Tee Time 3PM no Exceptions
As the warmer weather falls upon us, there are new guidelines on hours and Strick Cart Ettiquette.
1) Carts MUST stay at the lowest points of the course (i.e., at the bottom of the slopes around the tee boxes, and 30 yds away from all sides of the greens. Avoid driving up steep slopes anywhere. Avoid the transition areas between the fairway and the green. (30yds in the fairway, go into the rough left or right of the Green, parking 30 yds from the fringe.)

2) Riders must be seated IN THE CART!
1 warning then you will be asked to leave
3) There will be a $10 rider fee for ride along passengers
Lana Dove
Who was Lana Dove to Mellomar? Lana Dove is the Daughter of Loretta Dove, Evan Malnik's wife. I met Lana through Evan and our friendship. She was in a similar line of work and I was in a tough spot. All I could see were my problems and she was a beacon of light to help me out of my deep, dark space that was haunting me. What I didn't know was that she was in her own battle, in her own deep dark place and she was honoring me with her time and support. She kept me positive and hopeful throughout my challenges. This award is for a person who is a quiet fighter who appreciates simple things in nature and always willing to step up and give support when needed. Deserving recipients of this award have demonstrated, hard work, extra effort and willingess to lift the spirits of those around them, while remaining focused on their person goals.
Lana Dove - 2/24/1994 - 3/13/2025
A Tribute to a special beloved daughter and Friend
On February 24, 1994 she entered this world as a twin to her brother Victor, sharing an unexplainable bond in soul and in spirit.
Her laughter, kindness, and vibrant essence touched all who knew her, leaving an incredible mark on each of our lives. Lana's ability to make those around her feel seen, heard, cared for and loved was truly a gift.
She cherished all of nature, from bees to bunnies and would be found often rescuing, nurturing and caring for all that happened to cross her path.
Her infectious energy and genuine warmth were a light that brightened even the darkest of days. Whether with family, friends, or strangers, Lana's generosity, compassion, and authenticity brightly shined throughin everything she did.
Though we mourn her passing, we are comforted by the memory of the many joyful moments we shared with her and her brilliant light that continues to shine.
Lana would be thrilled to know that her family and friends have come together, united in love and gratitude, to honor and celebrate the incredible person she was.
I hope recipients of this award love life and positively impact all those around them in a way that makes Lana smile. We honor her and the recipient of this award to show how valuable it is to be a decent, hardworking, and caring person.

Iona Van Haute - Spring 2026 Green Monsters
Iona Van Haute received the Lana Dove award for her representation as a team player, perfect participation and overall improvement throughout the season. She was often times seen on the range working privately to get better and it showed on the course.
Her continued pursuit, positive attitude and kindness to her teammates and competitors represents the core values that Lana Dove would be proud to personify.
